BRYNJUDALSÁ

Description

Brynjudalsá is a charming little river in only about 40 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The river has a good stock of salmon and sea-trout.Brynjudalsa is fished with single handed rods, having the salmon close by and usually in full view. Two major waterfalls are in the lower part where anglers can find great numbers of fish in the early season as the major runs show up. These runs than spread out the river system, producing great sport for anglers. Despite being a small volume river, Brynjudalsá produces some nice size salmon which average 7 pounds
